Creative Hearts is a nurturing space for anyone's creativity to shine!  Classes are taught by artist educators who foster the learning and development of the whole child. 

​Our classes are the perfect way to enrich your child's day at home, while giving you some time to work on other projects.  Please note, all materials will be available for curbside pickup at our Dobbs Ferry location, or may be shipped for an additional charge.

We are happy to customize a virtual class for you and some friends, just let know what you're looking for.   Please note- if your child is not in the age group of the class you'd like, please reach out.  We'd be happy to work with you.  

Please let us know if you are unable to afford the full cost of the class.  We will do our best to work with you to make it affordable during these unpredictable times.

Get a little taste of everything in this fun, multimedia class.  Here, students will get the chance to explore a variety of different materials, methods and media, all while being encouraged to experiment and have fun.  Over the six week session students we'll do painting, printmaking, drawing, sculpture, and collage!  Projects will include: plastic bag printmaking, relief sculptures in model magic, and art that hangs from the sky!

Cartooning- ages 6-12

Explore the limitless world of cartooning in one of our most popular classes!  Here, kids will learn the basics of drawing and cartooning - story and character development, figure drawing,  facial expressions, and perspective.   Throughout the course of the session, students will make their very own comic books, and many love to continue working on them long after class is done.

Do I have to be local?   Not at all.  We ship our supply boxes all over the country.  Some kids like to take a class with distant friends or relatives as a way to connect while making art together.

Do you offer make ups?    Unfortunately we aren't able to offer make ups for missed classes.  However if we notice a student is missing, we make sure to film the class and email you the video.

Do we have to be present, or can we do the projects through the videos?     Absolutely!  Some families like to save the videos and supplies for a rainy day.  We have a few families who order their supply boxes each session and prefer to only watch the videos, while never attending the live class.  

How do I register for a class?    Please email us at  [email protected]  or call us at  914-620-2772  to check availability and reserve your spot.  

Can I join the program, even though classes have started?    Unfortunately we are not able to add students to the class once it's begun.  We spend a long time to curate the supply boxes for each session, and don't have the resources to create new boxes later on.  Registration closes the week before class begins.   But luckily sessions are only 5 weeks, so you can always join the next one!
