Our classes are the perfect way to add some creativity, connection and fun into your child's afternoon! Now more than ever, we all need a space to unwind and process the day. We aim to create a positive and peaceful space for kids to recharge through art.
Interested in art, but not in our studio? We offer virtual classes, birthday parties, pods in your home and private lessons. As well as recorded classes to do at home.
Please let us know if you are unable to afford the full cost of the class. We will do our best to work with you to make class affordable.

In this class we’ll explore topics like density, gravity, chemical reactions all through fun, engaging science projects. Projects will include toys that spin with kinetic energy, erupting paintings, and growing our own crystals in water. |

Cartooning — Ages 5-12
CLASS ALMOST FULL! 4:45 - 5:45 pm $420 for 12 weeks No class on 4/15 for the holiday Explore the limitless world of cartooning! In this class students will develop their own characters and stories, then create their very own comic book- complete with a specially designed cover! Throughout the session kids will learn the basics of drawing and cartooning - storytelling and character development, figure drawing, facial expressions, and action lines. Kids will have a blast sharing their fun, silly ideas and making them into a book they can keep forever. |

Adventurers! — Ages 4-7
CLASS FULL - WAITLIST ONLY 3:30 - 4:30 pm $420 for 12 weeks No class on 4/16 for the holiday Calling all adventurers- we’re going on safari! Here we’ll make safari gear like binoculars, maps and a compass to aid in our adventures. We’ll also create beautiful paintings and collages of jungle animals we might see in their habitats. We’ll even make a mini jungle diorama, complete with vehicles that kids can play with, long after class ends. Join us for an unforgettable adventure! |

Kids Books Come to Life — Ages 4-7
CLASS ALMOST FULL! 3:30 - 4:30 pm $385 for 11 weeks No class on 4/17 and 6/19 for the holidays Make your favorite books come to life in this creative class! We’ll begin each week by reading a classic children’s book, then dive into an art project inspired by it! Projects will include “Rainbow Fish” sparkly collages, “Harold and the Purple Crayon” magical hanging mobiles made from string, an “Iggy Peck Architect” cardboard city, and even a collaborative drawing game inspired by “Ish”. This is a class not to be missed! |

Open Studio— Ages 4-12
4:45 - 5:45 pm $385 for 11 weeks or drop in for $35/day No class on 4/17 and 6/19 for the holidays Ever wanted a chance to dive into all the magical materials at Creative Hearts?! Join us for our brand new Open Studio classes! Each week we will offer both a structured art project as well as the option to work on anything and everything! We will encourage kids to bring their creativity and amazing ideas, while our skilled teachers will help bring them to life. This is the perfect class for kids who love to explore and create (and for parents who might need help with a school project coming up)! Sign up for one day or the whole session! Our class sizes will stay small and be first come first serve. That way we can ensure that each student will receive individual attention and support while they create their masterpieces! |

FAQ's
What should my child wear? We often use messy materials (paint, glue, etc.) so we advise you to send your child dressed for a mess :)
Do you offer make ups? Because lessons are carefully planned, we can only offer make ups for the classes that we have to cancel, that were previously planned. If you miss a class, or if a class gets canceled due to inclement weather, we cannot guarantee a make up.
What happens during snow days? We follow the Dobbs Ferry school district schedule. If they close for a snow day, we are closed as well.
