Creative Hearts is a nurturing space for everyone's creativity to shine! Classes are taught by artist educators who foster the learning and development of the whole child. Our classes are the perfect way to add some creativity, connection and fun into your child's afternoon! We aim to create a positive and peaceful space for kids to recharge through art.
Interested in art, but not in our studio? We offer mobile classes, birthday parties, and private lessons that come to you!
Please let us know if you are unable to afford the full cost of the class. We will do our best to work with you to make class affordable.

Paint, Cut, Collage — Ages 4-7
3:30 - 4:30 pm $385 for 11 weeks Our Paint, Cut & Collage class offers fun variations of collaging projects where students will incorporate painting, paper, and drawing into their collages. This class will allow students to use mixed media to create amazing leaf collages, tile mosaics, trading cards and so much more! This class is an awesome choice for kids who want to get more involved in multimedia projects! Paint, Cut, Collage — Ages 4-7

Over the course of the session students will explore all kinds of different art making processes and materials. They will paint with watercolor and salt, sculpt masks and astronaut helmets and even stick their hands in shaving cream to marbleize paper! This is sure to be a fun class for everyone filled with lots of magic and a few surprises! Cosmic Creations — Ages 4-7

Art in the Air — Ages 4-8
3:30 - 4:30 pm $385 for 11 weeks Running out of table space?! Join us for all things hanging! Banners, mobiles, wall hanging and more! We’ll make stuffed clouds with painted sparkly rain, Calder inspired mobiles, suncatchers, and fabric banners that spell out our names! This class will be a fun exploration of new materials and ways of creating art- that will all hang from the walls! Playdough, Potions, & Slime — Ages 3-7
4:45 - 5:45 pm $385 for 11 weeks Join us this spring in our play dough, potions & slime class! This class will allow students to dive into a happy medium of potions, slimes, and playdoughs. We’ll be incorporating variations of process and sensory art all while exploring different avenues for creativity! From scented seasonal playdoughs infused with essential oils to real flower potions and concoctions, this class was designed to leave nothing out but everything to the imagination! |

Sculpture — Ages 4-7
3:30 - 4:30 pm $385 for 11 weeks This is the perfect class for the child that loves to build! We will create cardboard sculptures, squish our hands in clay, make mini doughnut stands and tiny worlds. Students will get to try a wide variety of sculpture techniques and mediums such as wood, wire, clay, cardboard and found objects! |

Art Explorations — Ages 4-10
4:45 - 5:45 pm $385 for 11 weeks or drop in for $35/day Dive into all the magical materials at Creative Hearts, with a different, open ended theme each week! Each "open studio" style class will feature a different material each week- such as sculpture, printmaking, watercolors and so much more! We’ll offer 3 different projects each class that kids can choose from, or they can invent their own! Perfect for kids who love to explore or those who need a little extra guidance. Sign up for the whole session, or just drop in! |

What should my child wear? We often use messy materials (paint, glue, etc.) so we advise you to send your child dressed for a mess :)
Do you offer make ups? Because lessons are carefully planned, we can only offer make ups for the classes that we have to cancel, that were previously planned. If you miss a class, or if a class gets canceled due to inclement weather, we cannot guarantee a make up.
What happens during snow days? We follow the Dobbs Ferry school district schedule. If they close for a snow day, we are closed as well.

A full refund or credit toward a future class is available.
