EMILY GOSWEILER

Director and Founder
Emily is the founder, and one of the teachers at Creative Hearts.  She genuinely loves each child, and is so grateful to get to spend time with them each day.  Emily received her BFA from SUNY Purchase, and has been teaching art to children and adults, in almost every capacity, for the past 18 yrs. 
She believes it is her mission to help each child find the magic within themselves, while always encouraging creativity, connection and so much silliness!

CHELSEA MICHAELIS

Teacher
Chelsea loves making art with children, and has loved making art since she was a child herself. She studied Studio Art at Bard College, and spent summers interning with the art therapist at Children's Village in Dobbs Ferry. She loves drawing, painting, collage, and more. Chelsea is excited to encourage kids to creatively explore and express themselves authentically with Creative Hearts.

ISABEL OLIVERAS

Teacher 
Isabel is a lover of art.  She studied Communications and Art at Pace  University.  She began teaching children how to swim as a lifeguard, and now brings her passion of art and working with children together at Creative Hearts.  When Isabel isn't teaching , she's designing and tattooing body decor as a hand-poke tattoo artist.  Isabel is over the moon to share her love for art with the Creative Hearts Community. ​

BIANCA TROPPMANN

Teacher
Bianca has been an art enthusiast since childhood. She studied sculpture at Maine College of Art and Design. She has a history of child care and teaching and, to this day, encourages children to express themselves through means of creativity. She loves drawing, painting, up-cycling everyday objects into something new and creating interactive art.  She believes that art is a tool used to unite people and is glad that she can help provide a safe space for children to grow and come together through making art at Creative Hearts.  ​​

VANESSA URIBE

Office Manager
​Vanessa is an artist, art educator, and arts administrator with a B.A. in Studio Art and History, currently pursuing my M.S. in Educational Studies, where they're continuing to explore how art can be a powerful tool for learning, growth, connection, and change. They work across a variety of mediums, with a practice rooted in building diverse, vibrant, creative communities. They are passionate about spreading creativity, encouraging radical imagination and self-expression at all ages, and making art joyful and fearless!
Her teaching philosophy is simple: “Take chances, make mistakes, and get messy!” —Ms. Frizzle.
